Devious Journal Entry

Allthough it may not seem like it, I have been active over the past few months. I've been practising on shading, scething, doodling and skulls (there's just something in skulls...) but these are all things that would probably get into the scrap section which means that I'll be doing a favor in not posting something that is going to get ignored and cause extra load on deviantarts systems, right?

There's one problem however. I've been trying to get this "metallic shine" but I just don't seem to get it right. I've tried the eraser trick and just smudging with my fingers or pencil but had little success. Although the problem is probably just that I need someone to hold my bloody hand so that I can get it straight, I would still appreciate any hints that you can come up with

  • Favourite band or musician: Rammstein (a German heavy-metal band, they call their music "tanzmetall"
  • Favourite genre of music: Rock in any form although i prefer heavy. I also like Classical music, allthough Rammstein is best
  • Favourite artist: there are many that i find excellent, but I prefer Da Vinci's art
  • Favourite poet or writer: I like a wide variety of writers, for example Dan Brown, Eoin Colfer and Don Rosa
  • Favourite style of art: Traditonal Art, Drawings mainly, and photos are quite fun too
  • Favourite cartoon character: the Finish Donald Duck which is quite a bit different from the american version
  • Tools of the Trade: pencils. i keep tham in a jar.

I checked out ebay already, but there was no picture of Oden in any magazines or anything...finally I managed to find a picture of him in google. Thanks for the comic link though!

tehehe. you're most welcome! I suggest you buy vol. 3 or 4.. It was really interesting.. I think vol.3 was the first time Odin was showed in detail.. or which was it.. mm.. but the front cover of that vol. was the one with Fenris sitting down, glancing at her back..

why the bloody hell won't I get these messages shown at "community messages"? Ahem, well anyways, thanks for the jolly link (clever and funny, had to copy it to my favorites, hehe) and that artists page. Speaking of which I haven't managed to find any Ragnarok comics with Oden, the ones on Ebay don't have him...could you help me out a bit?
