Allthough it may not seem like it, I have been active over the past few months. I've been practising on shading, scething, doodling and skulls (there's just something in skulls...) but these are all things that would probably get into the scrap section which means that I'll be doing a favor in not posting something that is going to get ignored and cause extra load on deviantarts systems, right?

There's one problem however. I've been trying to get this "metallic shine" but I just don't seem to get it right. I've tried the eraser trick and just smudging with my fingers or pencil but had little success. Although the problem is probably just that I need someone to hold my bloody hand so that I can get it straight, I would still appreciate any hints that you can come up with
