Allthough it may not seem like it, I have been active over the past few months. I've been practising on shading, scething, doodling and skulls (there's just something in skulls...) but these are all things that would probably get into the scrap section which means that I'll be doing a favor in not posting something that is going to get ignored and cause extra load on deviantarts systems, right?

There's one problem however. I've been trying to get this "metallic shine" but I just don't seem to get it right. I've tried the eraser trick and just smudging with my fingers or pencil but had little success. Although the problem is probably just that I need someone to hold my bloody hand so that I can get it straight, I would still appreciate any hints that you can come up with

I just have to say something about this, even though I'm really bloody tired (so I guess that's an apology for all the typos that WILL come when I write this)

So, after all the talk in Finland about "why?" and in Greece about "lets sue Lordi!" I think it's great that Lordi won. Add to that the fact that they are Finnish and that we here in Finland have been taking part in almost every Eurovision song contest in the past 40 years, only to end up in the bottom of the charts (99% of the time), this is definetly the best thing that has happened so far this year!

Although it isn't really for me to say I'd still like to thank everyone that voted for Lordi.

I'm gona put some of my stuff in the scraps section as they belong there, and also I'll delete the really crappy and unfinished ones like "the Finnish ritari". Meaby later all of the stuff iI've drawn on the back of my notebooks. This is because I don't think they are very representative and blah...geeze I'm tired, it's way past midnight here *yawn* ...
In the future I've been thinking about putting "critique encouraged" to all of my works in order to get more fancy oppinions

Time to finally get this journal updated (I think the last journal I wrote was just before last christmas and its almost spring now...). Again I haven't been very active on commenting on everyone's works (curse meself fer that) but the simple answer is that I have been busy. For example I have been trying to write this old work for motherlanguage which was supposed to be handed in last year (ahem...) but atleast I've been working on some drawings (yey.) but they're both still in the doodling/rehearsing/skissing stage. One of them is about some viking warrior and the other is a knight. That's all I'm gona reveal for now (hell, that is everything there IS to reveal).

Anyways, I'll go trough some of the messages I've got (all 53 of them (!)) today and the rest when I have more time...don't wait for me though
